We are buying it on launch day. I hate that they were lazy and are not having women skins, and many things in the game will be goofey as well, but at the same time, I personally have been waiting for a game that blends MMO persistant style worlds with fun fast FPS gameplay and robust character customization.

Good luck doing that in BFBC2. Not saying it isn't very similar to other BF's. Just that there isn't any prone. It is slightly more fast paced in my opinion. Not a lot though.

Ya,  Im sure it must be tough for them to add long hair and tits.  I can see how that would drive the price through the roof.  Nothing like high maintenance girl skins.  The game play itself looks like a winner though.  I had enough of battfield 2 and figure most of the other battlefield games play the same.  Go prone and shoot.  I like the run and gun and straffing gun fight feel of wolf and etqw so I tend to prefer the id and splash damage games.  Most games any more seem like rushed out crap.  So was my disapointment with the new wolf.  It could have been good if id had put a little more effort into it.

Yeah I have been following the development on Brink for a bit. The forums blew up for a bit about the whole "no girls" thing. It just seems goofey (in typical Splash Damage way they are the kings of goofey shit in games) that you would have this place where everyone fleed to to live, and there wouldn't be any girls. In addition, one of the "hot points" of the game is character customization, so its ironic that they would then leave out female models. SD said it would be too much work to do girl skins because they would have to make two of everything. Oh poor you, you have to make a game the right way the way Blizzard and Epic do, cry me a fucking river. Those guys are always full of excuses why the execs at the top make their stupid decisions. Hey SP, you haven't made a hit game yet... maybe you should try to start listening to your fan base, lol.

Havent played anything in about a year.  ETQW was the last thing i played.  Been busy with some other stuff but started rocking etqw again.
