In an effort to tone down pissed's druken harrasment over me not posting any of my music for you guys to hear, here are some links to my different bands.  im not responsible for any of these sites.  most were either put up by other band members, or fans or whatever.  i also have a few records that will not be represented in this list, but i can put them up in mp3 format if someone knows a good free open file host.

Metric Nut:
the closest thing i can find right now is a facebook group.. this band has been defunct since 2k3 or so.  there are some shots of a reunion show we did last saturday.

Sick of Silence:
this was my latest band, but its now also broken up.  the tracks are from a record we made....i think.  could be from rough mixes, or someone could have uploaded the final versions.

I am working with a few guys on something new now, and there was a band with a girl singer in between those first 2.  http://www.myspace.com/emiliamusic that is her page, but i didnt do any of the music on it.

if anyone knows a good file host where i could put 30-40 mp3s, let me know.

ok, i apparently had a windows live page that has a couple gigs of space, and i can share stuff thru a public folder.  im not sure if there is an easier way to link to the page, but this url should work

http://cid-a93d46cd703cd04d.profile.live.com/

some of the songs arent named, but they hall have meta data with the band and song titles.  also, most of them are in .wma format.  if that is a huge problem for you solaris or beOS users, i can probably find a converter.

edit: the files are uploading right now (10:15 cst) so you may have to give them a minute if you see this very soon.  and you may have to click the skydrive button on the left to see them all.. but im not really sure how it works exactly.

edit2: ok, they are all up now.  you will notice that some of the music crosses bands, and some metric nut folders have different versions of the same song.  the standard screw demo was the first recording i ever made with a band.  it was done in someones garage where lots of smoke was smoked and our drummer went to mcdonalds and ordered 2 of everything.  the earl wars sessions were pre production for Popular Metallics, our never-to-be second record.  i recorded all of those in our practice room.  the sick of silence, stronger than sound, popular metallics and veinshell records are all studio recordings.  popular metallics was never finished, so those are rough mixes.

That's some really cool stuff. Thanks for going through the trouble to link it all up for us. You really got some good jams there. Wink

Thanks for posting that stuff. Even if it seemed like it was just Pisseds drunken badgering, there are actually full on musicians here that appreciate it. Like I fucking told you!

The Sick of Silence definately reminds me of the style that Mastodon brings forth, from your singers vocals to your guitar riffing. Really neat stuff man, I enjoyed listening to the tracks, the music is really well writen, IMO. Really great band you had there!

That new one from Mastodon is such a fucking masterpiece isn't it? I can just sit and do nothing while listening to that entire disc just because the music is so freakin great.
